The Hampton Inn & Suites of Southfield was designed to anchor a new shopping center development and offer accommodations for the frequent business travelers to the area.  The project was the development of a new construction 107 key, 64,000 sf semi-prototypical Hampton Inn and Suites.  Kraemer Design Group was commissioned due to experience in hospitality design.  The challenge was to maintain the hotel brand’s standards while creating a fresh and unique aesthetic complimentary to the culture of metropolitan Detroit.  In addition to upgrading exterior building materials, KDG also developed a custom lobby and community room package.
