When ES3 decided to move to a warehouse space, they wanted an environment that would work with how their staff worked. This was a classic case of “form follows function.” This firm creates training, marketing and event programs for very large clients, most notably the automotive industry. Brainstorming, late hours and a fervent fever pitch are typical in a work week. Kraemer Design Group, PLC designed a space to enhance the creative flow from one person to the next, and on to the entire group. The loft-like area for designers is purposely large and bright, with contemporary workstations for individuals and a “War Room” with 25 feet of marker board to make their ideas a reality. This area is full of comfortable lounge furniture and a kitchenette and eating area, so once people are there, they like to stay for a while. Additional private offices are grouped to one side of the space, for easy access for all employees. ES3’s goal is to change the way people think, beginning with accommodating their own staff and its needs.
